OnPaper is here to help you get past that first gate and reach your first interview. From there, it’s on you to show up and present yourself at your best.

OnPaper is about representing your true self better. Bringing out what’s already there, not inventing what isn’t. Don’t claim experience or achievements you don’t have. OnPaper compares your CV with a specific job description and shows you where you’re a strong fit, where you might be missing something, and what deserves your attention — based on what the role is actually asking for, not generic CV advice.

OnPaper gives you recommendations, not guarantees. They’re suggestions, not certainties, and following them won’t guarantee an interview. You know your story better than any tool will, so treat OnPaper as a second opinion to think with. Every change to your CV is your call.

Your job search is personal.

We don’t keep your CV or the job text. They’re used once, in the moment, to generate your fit check, and then they’re gone. We don’t save them, and we can’t pull them up later.

Your CV file never leaves your browser. When you upload a PDF or DOCX, the text is pulled out on your own device. Only that text is sent to run the check — the file itself stays with you.

The job link is read once. We open the link you paste on our server to read the posting text for this one run, and we don’t store the link or the page.

No account, no sign-up, no email, no name. You never hand us your identity. Your browser holds a small random ID so we can remember how many runs you have left, and it isn’t linked to who you are.

How the run actually works. To run the comparison, we send your CV text and the job text to Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI that does the analysis. We don’t store either one ourselves.

We measure anonymously how the site is used — for example, which pages get opened and roughly how long a run takes, using privacy-friendly analytics on European servers. It never includes your CV, the job text, or your results, it doesn’t use cookies, and it never identifies you.

In short: your CV stays yours. We help you hold it up against a job, and then we let it go.
